Viral Load (ml) by Age Group and Sex (January 02, 2023-October 31,2024)

ÞThe line graph illustrates the viral load trend (ml) by reporting districts in the Central and Northwestern Zones, based on a total sample size of N = 76,919 for the period January 2, 2023, to October 31, 2024. The viral load, measured in RNA virus copies/ml, varies significantly across districts. The highest peaks are observed in Shire and Selekleka, where viral loads exceed 2000 RNA virus copies/ml, followed by Axum and Adwa, which also exhibit elevated values above 1000 RNA virus copies/ml. Other districts, such as Tselemti and Sheraro, show relatively moderate levels, whereas several districts, including Leke, L/Adiyabo, and Mzana, report minimal or near-zero viral loads. The trend highlights substantial spatial variations in viral load, suggesting potential differences in disease prevalence, reporting efficiency, or regional health conditions across districts in the Central and Northwestern Zones.
